Press Operators (Afternoon Shift) Job at Buchner Manufacturing Inc.
We have 2 immediate openings for press operators at our Pefferlaw plant for the afternoon shift (3:00 pm - 12:00 a.m. Mon - Thurs, 3:00 pm - 11pm Fridays). This position is responsible for operating stamping presses to facilitate the production of metal building products.
Duties and Responsibilties:
- Daily inspections of press
- Load coil
- Feeding/loading coil
- Die setup
- Preparing labels for boxes
- Producing product using various presses
- Inspection of product
- Packaging product
- Stack boxes onto skids
- Complete production paperwork
- Report press or die issues to maintenance
- General housekeeping of work area
- Other duties as required
- Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times
If you possess:
- Attention to Detail
- Strong organizational skills
- Willingness to work to meet deadlines
- Ability to work well independently as well as in a team
- Effective communication skills with co-workers and all levels of management
- Forklift experience (asset)
