Job description

We are growing and expanding with a new location in Balzac. This position will initially be based in Calgary but will move to our new Balzac location in early 2023.

SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Parts Manager, this position requires you to be the first point of contact in the eye of our customers that we serve throughout the city. Using the company vehicle, the Parts Driver is primarily responsible for delivering and picking up parts and/or equipment for/or on behalf of the Dealership. This position is a direct point of contact with many of our customers through our delivery service. A high degree of quality customer service externally is essential.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Pick up and deliver parts and equipment to customers, wholesale accounts and vendors. Some Customers require their delivery to be put away in the order of their company set up
• Quick response time to a customer’s complaint
• Driver routes are organized and managed using Elite Extra software. Drivers use the App on Company cellphones to carryout deliveries and pickups and proof of deliveries
• Handle basic maintenance of the truck including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean and making sure required inspections are performed. Advise Warehouse Manager if truck needs major repairs and/or maintenance
• Maintain a clean driver’s abstract
• Unloads truck each night and turns in all paperwork and undelivered parts
• Report any accidents or incidents that require attention
• Other duties as required

QUALIFICATIONS

• Minimum 1 years’ experience in similar role
• Valid Class 5 driver’s license (Class 1 an asset)
• Must be able to take direction from Supervisor
• Demonstrated skill in performing with a high level of quality
• Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-starter and ability to work in a fast-paced dynamic environment
• Experience in the industry is an asset

Salary: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
