PERMANENT FULL TIME
WATER AND WASTEWATER OPERATOR IN TRAINING/
PUBLIC WORKS LABOURER

Duties Include:

• Water and Wastewater Plants: Collection and Distribution, Pumping Stations Operation, Maintenance, Treatment and Sampling, Repairs.
• Public Works Department : Mechanical Repairs, Cemetery, Building/Facilities Upkeep, Road Repairs, Landfill, Arena Attending, Heavy Equipment Operation.

Requirements:

• Grade 12 Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Class 1 Water and Wastewater Distribution and Collection Certificates or OIT Water/Wastewater Ontario Operating Licenses Required
• Valid Class G2 License or higher
• On-Call Required/Ability to lift 50 pounds/Work in inclement weather conditions
• Canadian Citizen/Permanent Resident
• Self motivated/able to work in a team environment and independently
• Previous experience with the above duties an asset

Remuneration $27.00-$31.14 Excellent benefit package available to the successful candidate, 8 and 6 rotation, 10 hour days. 8 days on shift 6 days off shift.
