Travel Medicine & Vaccination Centre (TVMC) is looking for a proactive and highly efficient MOA - Supervisor with a positive attitude to join our team at Head Office. This role will suit a driven and motivated individual that will provide a pleasant experience for our clients and supervise our team of MOA's. This is a permanent Full-time opportunity. You will work mainly out of our Head Office in Burnaby, in the beginning you will also work out of our Coquitlam clinic.

TMVC is a privately owned and operated company with clinic locations across BC that have operated for over 25 years. We pride ourselves on offering the most reliable customer service and medical expertise. TMVC provides customers valuable travel health consultations, vaccinations, and other related medical services.

The MOA Role includes:

  • Greeting and registering client patients for Travel Medicine and Occupational Health services
  • Explaining products and services to client patients
  • Resolving customer enquires over the phone and face to face.
  • Manage and take incoming clinic calls
  • Creating invoices and processing payments
  • MSP billing
  • Booking future appointments for client patients
  • Ordering and picking up vaccines from Public Health
  • Liaising with Head Office about office supplies/vaccines and nursing supplies.

With additional duties as Supervisor:

  • Supervising and supporting TMVC MOA’s
  • Overseeing and regularly reviewing clinic administrative procedures
  • Training MOA’s locally and in satellite offices (travel required)
  • Regularly working as an MOA in clinics (Coquitlam/Burnaby-Head Office)
  • On occasion will be required to cover non scheduled shifts in Lower Mainland clinics i.e: vacation coverage/emergencies/sick calls
  • Monthly check ins with staff in person or via Zoom
  • Site visits
  • Regularly update and maintain documents, communicate updates to staff

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Completed High school
  • Attained an MOA or Business Administration certificate (preferred)
  • 2- 3 years experience in an administrative role
  • 3+ years in a supervisory or management role

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
TMVC adheres to the Worksafe BC and BCCDC Communicable Disease protocols. Clinic clients and staff are required to wear masks. All incoming TMVC staff are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19.

  • AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

Experience:
