PURPOSE OF THE POSITION

The purpose of this position is to plan and organize all Material Control activities to meet customer required inventory expectations. This role will also supervise and coordinate with the inventory and shipping staff at Allcard’s two locations.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee the shipping and inventory function for Allcard
• Supervise the Shipping/Inventory team at both locations in collaboration with the Manager
• Collaborate with/coordinate the activities of Shipping/Receiving in order to manage priorities and ensure efficiency
• Contribute ideas on ways to improve or optimize shipping, warehousing procedures
• Store product by designating storage areas; adjusting storage areas according to production and shipping requirements; updating monthly warehouse Google document
• Verify product inventory, ensuring accuracy of physical inventory. Document actions by ensuring receipt of inventory vouchers for all movement of inventory components. Monitor inventory by completing physical counts as required
• In collaboration with management, ensure that inventory is on hand, recommending and placing material orders as needed
• Receive, unload and place incoming inventory items appropriately
• Keep warehouse clean and organized daily and abide by all company safety regulations

KEY KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

• Proven working experience as a warehouse/inventory supervisor
• Experience supervising a team
• Experienced with MS Office suite, particularly Excel
• Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods
• Current forklift license is preferred
• Good organizational and time management skills
• High-School Diploma or equivalent

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
