We are currently recruiting for an energetic Shop Scheduler, to be located in Saint John, N.B. This is a key role within our maintenance shop, where you will work with a cohesive team to manage, plan and schedule all preventative and corrective maintenance activities. This is a great opportunity to get experience and exposure to the heavy civil industry and to grow within our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and schedule all preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Ordering and expediting of required parts to execute scheduled work
- Participate in Daily Maintenance Meetings
- Maintain records of work completed using computerized maintenance management system
- Support Supervisor as required during preventative and corrective maintenance activities
- Participate in process improvement and reliability initiatives
- Validate satisfactory completion of scheduled and executed work
- Estimating maintenance tasks and measuring schedule compliance
- Create weekly schedule(s) based on operations demand and adapt plans to accommodate break-in requests as required
- Responsible for prioritizing maintenance issues related to all mobile equipment.
- Plans and schedules corresponding workload with existing maintenance personnel.

- Coordinate 3rd party services as required. Process invoices and purchase orders as necessary.
Required Competencies:
- Trade certification, college diploma or relevant experience
- 2-5 years’ experience
- Previous scheduling experience considered an asset
- Strong communication, organization and time management skills, to effectively meet deadlines
- Proactive, detail oriented, and a good knowledge of planning techniques
- Experience in the Construction or Equipment industry is considered an asset
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced and team-based environment
