Primoris Canada is an infrastructure contractor serving major firms in the oil, gas, power, petrochemical, and heavy oil industries and include services covering tailings and hydro-transport pipeline construction and maintenance, storage tank construction and maintenance, industrial facilities multi-discipline construction and maintenance, piping fabrication, and pipeline integrity services.

SUMMARY

The Junior Project Coordinator is responsible for on-site project coordination by assisting in maintaining schedules and managing costs while executing client scope of work.

Location: Acheson, AB

Schedule: Monday - Friday

JOB DUTIES

• Assist in development of Change Requests
• Coordinate requests for information with client
• Assist in coordination of subcontractors to ensure budget, time, and schedule are maintained
• Provide support to managers in creating new proposals
• Perform other estimating and cost engineering responsibilities
• Various other duties as requested by management

QUALIFICATIONS

• Engineer in Training (E.I.T.) or Construction Engineering Technologist (C.E.T.)
• 1 – 3 years of experience in a similar role would be considered an asset (applicable education may be considered in place of experience)

SKILLS

• Ability to read blueprints/isometric drawings and details to understand scope of work
• Strong organization skills and detail orientated
• Skilled in utilizing MS Office programs, specifically Excel, word, and outlook
• Able to often work under pressure and stress
• Strong communication skills
