Inventory Associate Job at Orillia Auto & Truck Recyclers Corp.
Orillia Auto and Truck Recyclers is currently seeking an enthusiastic Inventory Associate to join our team on Line 14 North, Orillia. We are an established and growing accredited auto recycler with advanced computerized systems with room for advancement.
The Inventory Associate uses appropriate software to input reusable parts into our database and online e-commerce platforms as vehicles arrive on-site. This inventory is made available to our customers online and this position will play a critical role overseeing this inventory.
The physical activity required when inventorying parts is minimal, but the candidate can expect to spend 50% of their time outdoors adding parts to inventory and their remaining time in-office focusing on e-commerce. Knowledge of cars is a plus but not a necessity - we will train the right candidates.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
· Locate required vehicles in the yard that need parts inventoried
· Enter all reusable parts into our database using a tablet and inventory software called “PartMate”. The software provides a detailed outline on how parts should be entered into inventory
· Conduct run tests on vehicles to ensure engine is running as expected – vehicle remains stationary during the run tests. Upload run test videos to a cloud database
· Upload all inventoried parts into a database and report to inventory manager for cross-check
· Prepare parts for eBay by taking appropriate pictures and updating the parts on our inventory system
· Manage the listings and sales on our eBay account
