In-Studio Photographer

Full Job Description

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The In-Studio Photographer is responsible for daily portrait photography and client communication. The ideal candidate must have technical photography background and experience shooting portrait in a high volume, fast-paced environment. We are seeking a self-motivated photographer who have extensive knowledge in Photoshop, Light room, and other photo applications to join our team.

• Knowledge of digital photography and lighting.
• The photographer must maintain an efficient workflow and be able to work within a team and in most cases individually.
• Photograph portrait in a fast-paced timeframe.
• Be prepared to photograph pets according to company standards and guidelines.
• Photo editing which includes but not limited to retouching, sizing, color correcting, correct imperfections using adobe Photoshop.
• Knowledge of object and background separation in Photoshop.
• Assisting in managing company’s photo database.
• Participate in special projects, as needed both on-site and off-site.
• Organize and maintain schedule for all photoshoots
• Perform other duties as may be requested by management, including photo shooting of sales items, new items, and e-commerce items.
• Must fluent in both English & Mandarin

Preferred Qualifications:

• Team player with exceptional communication skills and interpersonal skills.
• Extremely organized, collaborative, responsible, and detailed oriented.
• Positive and professional demeanor.
• Excellent time and project management skills
• Proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office and Lightroom in both Windows & macOS.
• Degree/Certificate in Photography or related field preferred, or commensurate experience.
• RATES ARE DETERMINED BASED ON PORTFOLIO'S AND PAST EXPERIENCE.
• Retail or service experience desired.

Pay: $15.50 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Weekend shift
