We are looking for an energetic and reliable General Labourer for our Industrial Cleaning Services team. As a General Labourer, you will:

• Get dirty and have fun doing it!
• We operate 24/7/365 and require team members to be available during off hours from time to time.
• Our primary clients are the steel mills, marine operations and other industrial manufacturers.
• Safety training, PPE and transportation from our shop to the job site provided.
• Some out of town work required. Accommodations and per diem provided.

Preferred Skills:

• Valid and clean driver's license abstract
• Ideally has a reliable source of transportation
• Work well both individually and within a team environment
• Have good oral and written communication skills, job task planning and organization
• Complete all paperwork required by team members and supervisors
• Willingness and available for continuous learning.

Responsibilities:

• Communicate clearly and concisely with others regarding work instruction and completion of work
• Assisting the team leader of the crew and fulfilling tasks given onsite.
• Ensure working environment is clean and safe
• Read and interpret project plans, written instructions, verbal instruction
• Follow direction
• Use all hand tools safely and efficiently.
• Clean up any mess left around the work area at any time or on the site prior to leaving for the day
• Project a positive company image by acting professionally at all times, on or off client properties
• Follow all company policies and procedures including Health & Safety Policy
• Support and assist the Supervisor with paperwork such as Confined Space Entry Permits, Daily Vehicle Inspection Reports and all other required paperwork.
• Driving company vehicles back and forth from job sites across southern Ontario;
• Maintaining the truck and various items.
• Working in all weather conditions
• 40-60 hours per week.
• Maintain care of Truck Unit Equipment, Safety Equipment & Work Support Vehicle
• Maintains clean & safe work area.
• Works well in a team environment
• No experience required, we will house train the individual.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Salary: $19.00-$25.00 per hour
