Heavy Duty Mechanic Job at Action Equipment Rentals Inc.
;est your skill and ability? Work as a part of a growing equipment rental company that has been serving Red Deer for over 30 years. With a variety of equipment, no day is like the one before and each challenge is unique and exciting!
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
-Perform general maintenance on equipment after a rental return. Make sure all equipment is on top operating condition.
-Complete repairs and services
-Diagnose and repair electrical systems
-Diagnose and repair hydraulic systems
-Diagnose and repair engine systems
-Complete field repairs on equipment as required
-Complete inspections and services on equipment as necessary/ scheduled
-Complete any maintenance records as applicable
-Search for parts as necessary
-Work on weekend as scheduled
-Complete after-hours calls as required
-Be sure your work areas remain clean and tidy, free of obstructions
-Be willing to assist fellow employees when other work is complete or priority is given to other tasks
Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
-3rd or 4th year Heavy Duty Mechanic
-Aerial lift training/ fall arrest an asset
-First aid an asset
Physical Requirements:
-Ability to lift 50lbs
-Ability to lift 100lbs assisted
-Able to be on feet for long periods of time
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: $28.00-$39.00 per hour
