General Labour:
The General Labour full-time position is responsible for performing packaging, clean-up and other elemental activities related to food processing. The Port Perry location specializes in baked good products such as meat pies and Sheppard’s pies.
Responsibilities:
- Sort, pack, crate, and package materials and products
- Check and weigh materials and products
- Conduct visual quality checks of product against consumer and internal specifications
- Maintain cleanliness of areas of responsibility
- Ability to work rotating shifts (days and afternoons)
- Physically fit and able to lift, push and/or pull weight of up to 23kg (50lbs)
