ROLE PURPOSE:
Responsible for quality, good manufacturing procedures, safe, secure, and accurate filling of customer orders and ensuring those orders arrive at the staging locations complete and on time. While keeping a focus on quality.
THIS IS A FLEX ROLE THAT WILL WORK BETWEEN CUSTOMIZATION AND WAREHOUSE AS BUSINESS NEEDS CHANGE. POTENTIAL POSITIONS ARE LINE WORKER, CASE SELECTOR, FORK OPERATOR (IF CERTIFIED).
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Assembling various types of merchandise in preparation for shipment.
* Pick customer orders or shipment ensuring that the number is correct which aligns with the type of product that is being picked and shipped.
* Transporting orders to shipping locations while utilizing material handling equipment.
* Assistance with physical inventories.
* Maintaining a neat, clean, orderly, and safe work area.
* Perform additional duties as required by management
* Feeding the line with products
* Re-packaging products at the end of the line
* Build cardboard display items and fill with product
* Labeling to prepare products for shipment
* Maintain a safe and clean work area .
REQUIRED SKILLS / EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE
* Ability to work specified shift
* Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules
* Ability to read, understand, and follow directions/instructions
* Ability to perform simple math calculations
* Ability to identify and locate product which requires reading, counting, and printing
* Ability to operate material handling equipment, such as SPJ/DPJ
* Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
* Must meet material handling equipment certification requirements
* Ability to stand, walk, bend, crouch, stoop, reach, stretch, step, climb and/or sit frequently or through the duration of the shift
* Must have a clear Criminal Background
