Currently, we are assisting our client in the Bolton area with their search for an experienced fitter welder. This is a full time, permanent position for a leading size reduction equipment company in North America. The successful candidate will be eager, willing to learn and grow, and have a great work ethic leading to great performance. There is opportunity for growth. Candidates must have previous fitter welder experience.
Responsibilities Include:
· Able to work with little to no supervision
· Able to read and work from drawings
· Able to work with accuracy (i.e. measurements and cuts for parts assembly)
· Troubleshoot welding issues
· Knowledge of fabrication shop production processes
· Knowledge of welding and fitting and able to fit/weld light and heavy material for assembly
Qualifications:
· Must have at least 10 to 15 years of experience in fitting/welding
· Must have experience with hand tools, grinders, etc.
· Maintaining a good attitude and ensure safe procedures
· Steel-toed boots are required
· Work full-time – Monday to Friday
· Must have own car
