Early Childhood Educator Job at Happy Dreamers Daycare
Looking to start your career in child care? Or just looking for a change? We are hiring fun, energetic daycare teachers who are passionate about children.
Being a part of Happy Dreamers Daycare means that you are part of a family. We want you to be a part of the village that will help raise smart, inquisitive children. By implementing our programs and helping to create stimulating activities, we will prepare and support our children through the tough job of growing up. We will hold the kids when they cry, kiss their bumps and bruises, celebrate their achievements, and cheer them on as they learn. We will love them as our own.
Our mission:
We provide top quality child care that educates and prepares children emotionally, intellectually, creatively, socially, and physically to meet the demands of school and life. We use routines and techniques that strengthen communication skills, build confidence, and inspire children to reach for happiness. It is vital that our children and parents feel comfortable, safe, and informed about their daycare experience. When you are a part of Happy Dreamers Daycare, you are a part of a family. We love all children like our own, and treat all parents and staff as friends. We promote the growth of lifelong friendships, and connect families to each other. We are not only a daycare, but a community where every child belongs.
Our philosophy:
At Happy Dreamers Daycare, we believe in a holistic approach to childcare. All areas of a child’s development are interconnected and must be carefully considered. Their intellectual, physical, emotional and social learning must all be engaged on a day-to-day basis to foster a sense of contentment and well-being or happiness. We believe that through thoughtful and engaging play, we can touch the intellectual curiosity and creativity of each child. By playing together with other children their own age and engaging with their teachers, they are learning cooperative skills essential to their emotional and social well-being. With a variety of play activities, we engage their physical bodies in learning the necessary gross motor skills and the fine motor skills, as well as muscle strength, coordination and control.
At Happy Dreamers Daycare, we welcome the diversity of each child, coming from a variety of homes and cultures, with individual strengths and gifts. Through discovery and exploration learning, each child has the opportunity to try different activities and develop a range of skills and interests that they can pursue throughout their lifetime. We value developing the vivid imagination that each child brings, encouraging them to dream and explore what ‘think big’ means to them.
We believe that we are a part of the child development team with the parents. Together, we will be working to develop routines and good habits that ease anxiety, build character and teach age appropriate responsibility. Sleep, mealtime, and activity routines help the kids feel safe and transition between home and daycare more easily. Keeping the parents aware of each child’s every day activities, milestones and achievements helps us to work together for the child.
