Delivery Driver/Warehouse Job at L Furniture
L Furniture is a multiple award winning local furniture store based in Kelowna. We specialize in Canadian made furniture and have a reputation for selling quality products along with excellent service at every interaction.
We are looking for a full time, reliable employee to join our family owned business and be in charge of our delivery and warehouse departments.
You will need to be able to confidently drive a cube van locally and once per week a 5 tonne truck to Vancouver.
Job responsibilities:
Driving
Basic maintenance of vehicles
Delivering products into households which will include some assembly
Directing your co-workers
Warehouse organization
Loading / Offloading trucks
Work independently
Required for the position:
Class 5 drivers licence
Clean driving abstract
Fluent in spoken and written English
Ability to communicate with employees and customers in a polite manner
Physically able to lift and move 100lbs +
Good time keeping
Ability to use basic power tools
Ability to work safely
