Before & After School Care Program Staff with Class 4 drivers license Job at Bee Haven Consulting Inc
Bee Haven Childcare Centres are looking to strengthen their team by hiring quality and committed team members to provide excellent creative programming in our before and after school care programs working with children ages 5 to 11 years old. There are 6 different locations for the before & after school care programs, all in North Vancouver. We are looking specifically for staff who hold their class 4 drivers license with experience in a child care program.
Successful applicants could be enrolled in an ECE or post secondary education program, possess a current ECE/assistant license, or have at least 20 hours of education in Child Psychology, Education, Nutrition and/or Phys ED, Child and youth care certificate or have a 20 hour responsible adult certificate (this online course can be taken after being hired, so long as it is completed within 3 months)
All applicants must have/be willing to get current First Aid/CPR.
Criminal Record check is mandatory.
The hours are flexible, and can be 7:15-9:15am and or 2:00/2:30-6:00 pm, we can be flexible with students schedules, as in they can leave as early as 5:00 if they have classes, and we ask for a minimum of 3 days availability, but preference will be given to those candidates with 5 days afternoon availability.
Extensive benefit package available to successful applicants including medical and dental, paid vacation and education funding. All positions include training. All positions are subject to successful probation period of 3 months, after which the staff member is eligible for benefits and up to 50% reduced cost childcare.
