5G Transport Layer Software Engineer Job at Syntronic

What we’re looking for
Highly motivated and dynamic professionals- Motivated designers with broad backgrounds and service mindset to be a consultant
- Professionals with ability to work both with in-house projects and on-site assignments at our customer’s locations
What you'll do:
- Participate in design, architecture, and development activities for Transport Network components in 5G RAN
- Interface with Platform, OAM and other components that interact with Transport components
- Enable and participate in all software development, verification and integration for Transport area
Requirements:
- Strong C/C++ skills including design patterns, GDB debugging , sockets, IPC, multithreaded programming, databases
- Strong knowledge of Networking, TCP/IP Stack in Linux environment
- Linux kernel networking architecture
- Proven record of working on large mobile network systems either as a member of a network equipment manufacturer or as a radio technology provider
Nice to have:
- Experienced in IPv4, IPv6, IPSec, DHCP, SCTP and Precision Timing Protocol (PTP)
- Knowledge of 3GPP and Open RAN specification
- Hands-on experience using scripting languages (Python, Shell/Bash)
- Familiarity with use of hardware accelerators for encryption
